Lantern Hall came alive with music, laughter, and nostalgia during Karaoke Throwback Tracks, a studentled event hosted by the Tri Pi Sorority.
The space was transformed into a cozy, retro inspired lounge awash in Tri Pi pink. From the seating to the wall decor, every detail leaned into throwback charm. Vinyl records, cassette tapes, a classic jukebox, and colorful nods to 1950s and 1980s art created a laid back atmosphere that invited students to relax, sing, and celebrate music across generations.

Students packed the hall to show off their talent, and Woodcrest’s creative spirit was on full display. Performers took the stage to sing beloved covers alongside original songs, drawing cheers from friends and classmates. A few group performances added extra flair, delivering playful duets and lighthearted meme songs that kept the crowd laughing and engaged.

Keeping the event running smoothly was DJ Minky Mooncat, who served as host for the evening. With upbeat energy and seamless transitions between acts, she introduced each singer and made sure everyone had their moment in the spotlight.

The night reached its peak when the Tri Pi sisters took the stage to perform their signature song, “Next Level.” The crowd erupted with applause and excitement, closing out the event on a high note that perfectly matched the evening’s celebratory tone.
By the end of the night, one question echoed throughout Lantern Hall: When is the next one? With its welcoming atmosphere, impressive performances, and strong sense of community, Karaoke Throwback Tracks proved to be a standout campus event and a reminder of just how much talent and school spirit Woodcrest University has to offer.
