A brand new literary lounge has opened its doors, and it’s called The Ink Between Us. This cozy, creative book club meets every second and fourth Sunday of each month, bringing readers together to talk stories, swap ideas, and celebrate all things bookish.
The club held its very first meeting at Starpugs in Londons Dock on Sunday, January 11 at 2 p.m., where members gathered to learn how everything works and to kick off the journey together.
Here’s how the rhythm of the club flows:
First Meeting of the Month
• The Book(s) of the Month are announced (one or two selections).
• Members discuss the book(s) they read from the previous month.
• Everyone receives a Bookish Bingo card for both personal fun and group challenges.
• Each month comes with a brand-new theme to keep things fresh and exciting.
Second Meeting of the Month
• Members suggest and vote on upcoming Book(s) of the Month.
• Current reads, past favorites, and exciting new releases are all up for discussion.
• And of course… Buddy Reads!
What’s a Buddy Read?
It’s when two or more readers link up to read the same book together and share the experience as they go. Think of it as a reading adventure with a partner in plot.

The first meeting was a success! Many came out and talked about their favorite genre, favorite books, as well as gave many book recommendations! If the To Be Read was not already long, after this meeting it surely is now! By the way…
