On a Friday in December, some dorm residents decided to host a Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) dorm party. The party took place on the fourth floor, where all the “cool” people are said to reside, or so I was told. It was clear that this group knew how to throw a party. Free pizza and snacks were available, along with music that kept the energy high throughout the night.
The DAM boys made an appearance with their infamous keg stand, and as expected, friendly competition quickly followed and became fierce. There was plenty of dancing and chatting, and of course, lots of cheering for the DAM boys, who were clearly having a great DAM time.
Was this party a one time event? Only time will tell. Will future parties continue to be held on the fourth floor? We shall see. One thing is certain: the students proved they know how to turn an empty space into a night filled with fun and excitement.
