DOE Sorority invited the Woodcrest community to get into the holiday spirit with A Gingerbread Village, a cheerful seasonal event that transformed the campus quad into a festive winter playground filled with creativity, treats, and holiday activities.

The quad was decorated to resemble a charming gingerbread village, setting the perfect backdrop for an evening of fun and togetherness. Students gathered with friends to decorate gingerbread creations using icing, candies, and colorful confections, turning the space into a hub of imagination and friendly competition. The hands on activity encouraged laughter, collaboration, and plenty of sweet holiday memories.

Beyond gingerbread decorating, the event offered a variety of festive attractions to keep guests entertained. Attendees had the chance to snag holiday gifts, enjoy a round of mini golf, and even jump into a playful snowball fight, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening. With multiple activities available, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The relaxed and joyful atmosphere made the quad feel lively and welcoming as students moved from station to station, soaking in the holiday spirit. The event provided a perfect opportunity to unwind, socialize, and celebrate the season in a fun, low pressure environment.

DOE Sorority showcased their ability to create an engaging campus event that brought people together. A Gingerbread Village was a sweet reminder of the joy and creativity that define the holidays at Woodcrest, leaving guests smiling long after the icing had settled.
