The autumn season officially arrived at Woodcrest University with the kickoff of the 3rd Annual Harvest Festival, marking the start of a week packed with fall fun, themed parties, and campus spirit. Every year, the festival transforms Woodcrest into a week long celebration.

The festival grounds came alive with the sound of laughter, music, and the crunch of leaves underfoot as students gathered for the highly anticipated Harvest Festival Celebration kick off. The event opened with live music from a new local band, whose tunes set the perfect tone for a crisp October evening. Their performance warmed up the crowd and got everyone moving.

Later that evening DJ Minky took over, the atmosphere shifted from cozy to electric. Known for her infectious energy and creative mixes, she filled the night air with upbeat tracks that had students dancing across the festival lawn. Friends swayed, laughed, and sang along to their favorite songs.

True to the festival’s reputation, the kickoff blended the charm of autumn with a party atmosphere that only Woodcrest could pull off. Drinks and refreshments flowed from decorated booths, and students arrived dressed in cozy fall outfits and Halloween inspired accessories.

The celebration built up to its grand finale. a spectacular fireworks show that lit up the Woodcrest sky. As students cheered and recorded videos on their phones, bursts of gold and orange shimmered above the festival grounds, closing out the night with a moment of shared awe.

But the kickoff was just the beginning. Over the next week, the Harvest Festival promised a full lineup of events and festivities. Festival organizers say this year’s goal is to make the Harvest Festival bigger and better than ever before, with more interactive experiences and performances throughout the week. The event has become one of Woodcrest’s most anticipated traditions. A chance to unwind before the holiday rush, connect with friends, and enjoy the creative side of campus life. Proving once again that at Woodcrest University, fall isn’t just a season. It’s a celebration.
