Which path will you choose—the luminous ascent toward Heaven’s gates, or the treacherous plunge into Hell’s embrace? That was the burning question on everyone’s mind when the boys of Delta Alpha Mu (DAM) transformed day five of Woodcrest Summer RUSH into their infamous Angel and Demon party.
The transformation was mesmerizing. All around, the environment shifted in a slow, hypnotic dance—from a lush, tropical paradise of shimmering blues and golds to a searing underworld surrounded by rivers of molten lava. At one moment, you could almost feel the warm sun on your skin, and the next, the heat of Hell’s flames pressing in.
DJ Guinness commanded the atmosphere like a conductor of realms, blending ethereal, heavenly tracks with hellacious ’80s hard rock. The music itself felt like a journey—one minute you were floating among clouds, the next you were tumbling into fire.
The crowd came dressed for war. Halos gleamed like beacons in the dim light, their wearers draped in white and gold, every feather of their wings pristine. Across the room, horns curved like crescent moons, wings dark as midnight unfurling from shadowed figures whose eyes seemed to hold ancient, dangerous secrets.
Then there were those who went beyond mere costume—one figure in particular emerged like a nightmare brought to life. Flames appeared to lick at his skin, his very presence radiating heat, as if Lucifer himself had claimed him. He didn’t walk through the crowd so much as he prowled, drawing both admiration and uneasy glances.
Laughter and music masked the tension, but if you looked closely, you could feel it—a subtle shift in the air every time the two sides met. The angels carried themselves like guardians, their smiles hiding the weight of judgment. The demons? They smiled too, but their grins were sharp, dangerous, promising temptation rather than protection.
As the night wore on, alliances were quietly formed, and enemies quietly marked. No one said it outright, but the unspoken truth lingered: once you chose your side, there was no turning back. By the time the flames dimmed and the music faded, everyone knew who walked in the light… and who would be watching from the shadows.
And perhaps the most haunting realization of all? Some guests didn’t just choose a side—they were born for it.
