Woodcrest’s skyline lit up with color and community spirit Saturday night as Tri Pi Sorority threw its most vibrant event yet: the TriPride Rooftop Rave. Held on the rooftop of a downtown Woodcrest building, the event was a high energy filled celebration of Pride Month that brought together students, friends, and allies for an unforgettable night under the stars.
String lights, neon accents, rainbow streamers, and colorful LED decor created a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Everywhere you turned, there was something bright, bold, and beautiful, a true reflection of the community it celebrated.
The night kicked off with a buzz of excitement as attendees arrived dressed in their favorite Pride inspired outfits. Whether it was glitter, glow paint, rainbow flags, or statement pieces, everyone came dressed to dance and celebrate their truth. The music pulsed through the night thanks to the phenomenal DJ Willa, who kept the dance floor packed with high energy beats.
But the rave wasn’t just about dancing Tri Pi made sure to include a cozy chill zone where partygoers could relax, refresh, and connect. This comfy seating area offered a fun break from the dance floor. One of the highlights of the evening was a hilarious round of Pictionary, where friends teamed up to draw and guess everything from bread to deers to questionable portraits of a poop emoji. Laughter echoed across the rooftop as inside jokes and wild guesses flew through the air.
Tri Pi continues to raise the bar when it comes to fun, inclusive events that reflect its values of unity, love, and sisterhood. With June being Pride Month, this rave was a perfect way to honor the LGBTQ+ community while embracing everything that makes Woodcrest’s Greek life so unique.
