On Sunday, March 30, the ladies of Delta Omicron Epsilon (DOE) hosted a grand initiation party to welcome three women into their sisterhood: Miriam Covett, Charelle Ravenwood, and Shakira Forsyth. The celebration took place in a breathtaking venue featuring a beautifully arranged garden that was divided into two distinct areas, each carefully curated to enhance the experience.
As guests arrived, they were immediately embraced by the enchanting ambiance of the garden. Lush green hedges lined the entrance, vibrant blue flowers, freshly bloomed, added a pop of color to the surroundings, while white and blue balloons floated gracefully, reinforcing the celebratory spirit. The first section of the venue served as a welcoming area, where a thoughtfully placed photo frame proudly displayed images of the participants who had demonstrated dedication, hard work , and commitment to fulfilling the necessary requirements to become members of Delta Omicron Epsilon. This tribute honored their journey and served as a heartfelt reminder of their hard work.
In this same area, multiple tables were arranged with care to ensure that all guests had a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the festivities. The organizers went above and beyond to provide an impressive selection of food and beverages, catering to a variety of tastes. Once I had my fill, I made my way to the second half of the event, eager to explore what awaited beyond the hedged archway. As I stepped through, I was met with an exciting sight—a dance floor set up beneath a gazebo. The music pulsed through the air, bringing energy and excitement to the celebration, and soon, the dance floor was filled with sisters, friends, and supporters moving to the beat.
