There is one pain that is said to be worse than childbirth. That pain is known as a toothache. Rinsing your mouth with it can prevent you from getting an infection from what’s causing your toothache, and it might even help to relieve the associated pain.
Another remedy used is the use of Clove oil. Clove oil can be purchased at most drug stores or grocery stores, and it has always been a great natural numbing agent which can be applied directly to the affected part of the gums or teeth: A few drops should do it.
Believe it or not, gargling can also be of some use for toothache. Regular gargling with some of salt water and alcohol-based solutions such as mouthwash, could relieve pain in the case where toothache is being caused by trapped food particles or bacteria. It could be a great way to prevent any toothache from happening in the first place. If you don’t incorporate gargling with mouthwash into your regular routine, now is a good time to start!
There also a 3-3-3 method that some people adhere by. The 3-3-3 method is the taking of three Motrin’s or Advil’s (600 mg total) three times a day for three days until your dental visit.
