The Delta Omicron Epsilon (DOE) sorority at Woodcrest University recently hosted a lively event called Winter-Fest, organized by one of the sorority’s social chairs, Prettyy News Hansen. The event was aimed at bringing the community together during rush week and welcoming new members into the sisterhood, resulting in a magical evening filled with fun, laughter, and holiday cheer.

Winter-Fest took place in the university quad, where attendees were greeted with an enchanting atmosphere. The night featured a variety of activities, including thrilling sled rides, which were expertly managed by Ann. Guests were also treated to lively music provided by Deidre Farrell D’Morgann, affectionately known as DJ Didi, a DOE Vice President. The upbeat tunes kept attendees dancing and enjoying the festive spirit. Chelsea Sempier worked along side with Didi as her host keeping the crowd entertained and energized.

A standout feature of the event was the appearance of Delta Alpha Mu President Thomas Evans, who took on the role of a charming and playful Santa. His engaging presence encouraged students to come sit on his lap, take photos, and share their holiday wishes. Miriam Covett played a key role in ensuring that everyone had the chance to interact with Santa, while Melina Chardin-Ravenwood kept the crowd entertained and engaged throughout the evening.

As the night unfolded, attendees enjoyed delicious festive bites and participated in various activities, including dancing and sledding. The host made sure to check in on guests, ensuring they were having a wonderful time. The spirit of community was palpable as students connected over shared experiences and festive fun.

Jaelynn Strangelove, Woodcrest Event Coordinator and also a vice President of DOE, worked closely with Prettyy to ensure the event ran smoothly by helping to keep the guests entertained. Under the guidance of Sharon Skydancer, President of the sorority, the Winter-Fest successfully highlighted the values of sisterhood and community at Woodcrest.

The night culminated in a lively atmosphere where students celebrated the holiday season, danced to the music, and created lasting memories. In conclusion, DOE Winter-Fest was a fantastic success, the event not only fostered a sense of community at Woodcrest but also provided a warm welcome to potential new members, making it a night to remember for all who attended.
