Dear Woodcrest Community,
I hope this message finds you all in great spirits! My name is Mandie Romano, and I am truly excited to step into the role of your new President Elect. With the election behind us, I’m eager to begin collaborating with all of you as we move forward on the various initiatives I discussed during my campaign.
To successfully support our community’s needs and endeavors, it is essential to fill the following positions on our council: Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Event Coordinator. I invite anyone interested in taking on one of these vital roles to apply.
If you’re passionate about shaping our college and making a difference, please prepare a statement of intent and support. This statement will be an opportunity to share your vision and qualifications, and it will be read in front of the former council and council senators during our next council meeting, scheduled for 11/18/24 at 5:00 pm SLT. The senators will be voting to elect the new council members at that time, so your participation is vital!
As I transition into office and work alongside Hana as she hands over the baton, I am committed to establishing a council that reflects the wonderful diversity of our student body. Together, we can create an inclusive environment that welcomes all voices and perspectives.
