There were plenty of events and activities to enjoy at this year’s 2025 Harvest Fest, but one stood out as a true crowd favorite — the annual Hide and Seek at Camp Whisperwood. As dusk settled over the wooded trails and the crisp autumn air filled with anticipation, students gathered at the old cabin deep in the forest — a place whispered to be haunted by stories of the past.
The meeting point was dimly lit, the wooden structure creaking with every gust of wind. Event organizers went over the rules of the game and the safety protocols, emphasizing what to do if anyone became lost — a necessary precaution considering the camp’s mysterious reputation. Some whispered about the former students who once attended a Whisperwood retreat and were never seen again, tales that added an eerie thrill to the night’s excitement.

Once the game began, the forest came alive with footsteps, nervous laughter, and the occasional shriek as players darted behind trees and cabins, trying not to be caught. The flicker of flashlight beams and the distant echo of crunching leaves made the experience both exhilarating and spine-tingling.
Thankfully, everyone who attended was accounted for by the end of the night, and the only things lost were a few hats and maybe a bit of dignity from those who screamed the loudest.

To close the evening, the group stayed behind at the campfire for an impromptu dance party under the stars, complete with music, hot cider, and ghost stories shared late into the night. It was the perfect mix of fear and fun — a memory that will no doubt live on as one of this year’s most unforgettable Harvest Fest moments.
