On Thursday, September 18, at 2 p.m., Tau Lambda Phi (TAO) hosted a festive potluck, bringing together members of the Greek houses as well as non-Greek students. The event was designed to set the tone and build excitement for the upcoming Greek Olympic Games.
Each house brought a favorite dish to share, creating a delicious spread for everyone to enjoy. The afternoon was filled with food, drinks, laughter, and lively conversation. Two items in particular stole the spotlight: Tri Pi’s famous pumpkin pie and Nena’s signature slushies. The pie quickly disappeared as guests lined up for a taste, while Nena’s slushies became the perfect refreshing drink on what turned out to be a warm afternoon. Both were declared “must-haves” for any future events.
More than just about food, the potluck captured the spirit of unity on campus. While everyone proudly represented their own Greek house, the event highlighted how these organizations can come together as one big family. Students from different backgrounds bonded over shared meals, jokes, and stories, reminding everyone that Greek life is about more than competition—it’s also about friendship and community.
By the end of the afternoon, it was clear the potluck had succeeded in its mission. Not only did it set the tone for the Greek Olympics, but it also left everyone with full stomachs, big smiles, and a stronger sense of connection. If this event was any indication, the upcoming games are bound to be unforgettable.
