Who’s ready for some game show excitement? On day five of Woodcrest Summer RUSH, the newly established fraternity Beta Alpha Delta (BAD) made their grand debut with the very first Meet and Greek—a fast-paced, laugh-filled trivia battle that had the entire crowd buzzing with energy.
From the moment you walked in, the atmosphere felt electric. Greek houses TAO, DAM, OMEGA, DOE, and TRI PI sat down at their tables, ready to prove they were the ultimate masters of Greek knowledge. And in true BAD fashion, they didn’t leave anyone out—non-Greek guests had their own special table to join the fun and compete for bragging rights.
The rules were simple, but the competition? Anything but. The game featured five categories, each dedicated to one of the competing houses, along with a thrilling double-point question in every category focused on facts about BAD itself. Point values ranged from 100 to 500, so one big question could turn the game upside down in seconds.
Laughter echoed through the room as contestants buzzed in—sometimes confidently, sometimes way too early—leading to hilarious wrong answers that had the audience in stitches. The double-point BAD questions were especially tricky, forcing players to dig deep into their memories from the fraternity’s whirlwind start to RUSH week.
As the rounds heated up, the scoreboard became a rollercoaster. Teams clawed their way up and tumbled back down, determined to outwit each other. In the final round, TRI PI made an epic comeback. With that, they soared to 3,500 points, claiming victory and eternal bragging rights—at least until next year’s rematch.
When the dust settled, it didn’t matter who won—everyone left smiling and a little smarter about the Greek community at Woodcrest. BAD had not only made a memorable first impression but also set the bar high for future Meet and Greek competitions.
