Q: What made you decide to go to Woodcrest?
A: Woodcrest has a surprisingly high tolerance for people with complicated funding histories and more fieldwork than finesse. I took that as a good sign.

Q: What is the one thing that you love about Woodcrest?
A: The library’s rare book collection is almost as well-curated as the student body.

Q: What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far at Woodcrest?
A: I’ve only been here a week, so I’m counting matriculation as a win until further notice. I showed up. That’s half the job.

Q: What would you consider your most embarrassing moment at Woodcrest?
A: I misidentified a resistance glyph as a fertility symbol in front of a tenured anthropologist and an entire room of first-years. It haunts me.

Q: What is the one thing that you think people will remember you for in Woodcrest?
A: Probably the name. People act like they don’t recognize it, but their eyebrows always give them away.
