Q: What made you decide to go to Woodcrest?
A: I wanted a fresh start. After everything life threw at me, I needed a space where I could grow, heal, and challenge myself creatively. Woodcrest felt like the right place, somewhere that blended opportunity with community and let me show up fully as myself.
Q: What is the one thing that you love about Woodcrest?
A: The energy. There’s always something happening—whether it’s a party, Spirit Week, or a last-minute club meeting. It feels alive here, like every day is a chance to step into a new version of yourself.
Q: What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far at Woodcrest?
A: Definitely joining the school newspaper. Reporting on events, showing up with my notepad and camera which pushed me out of my comfort zone and reminded me that my voice matters. Plus, being trusted to cover big events? That’s a win.
Q: What would you consider your most embarrassing moment at Woodcrest?
A: Honestly? Probably when I showed up to an event in full glam: heels, lashes, the works….only to realize it was more of a “comfy chill” kind of vibe. I owned it, of course… but I won’t lie, I avoided eye contact with a few people that day.
Q: What is the one thing that you think people will remember you for in Woodcrest?
A: My presence. Whether it’s the pink glasses, the way I dress, or how I speak up in meetings…I think people will remember that I was fully myself. Kind, creative, a little extra, but always real.
