Clothes Off, Energy On: Recapping ΔOE’s ABC Foam Party

Article and photography by Alex Anissa Foxx

If there’s one thing Delta Omicron Epsilon knows how to do, it’s throw a party that’s unforgettable, even if your outfit barely survives it.

Delta Omicron Epsilon brought the chaos (and the creativity) with their ABC Foam Party, which, true to its name, meant Anything But Clothes. On April 30th, from 2 to 4 PM, the party exploded into a glitter-soaked, foam-flooded, bass-thumping fever dream. Think runway meets rave, but your outfit must be made from caution tape, plastic wrap, rubber duckies, or literal flower pots.

From the second I walked in, I was hit with a blast of color, lasers, bubbles, and music that never let up. DJ Laci lit up the space with hit after hit, from Kesha’s “Take It Off” to Rihanna’s “S&M,” while the foam machines rained down nonstop sudsy magic.

As the foam piled higher, dancers jumped, splashed, and struck poses under spinning lights. There were spontaneous spankings (all in good fun, of course), heartfelt hugs, unicorn skirt twerks, and several people asking the DJ to play just one more song long after 4 PM hit.

The open bar kept everyone bubbly, pun intended, and by the end, even the shyest partygoers had foam in their hair and glitter somewhere suspicious.

Whether you came to dance, drink, vibe, or show off your crafting skills with duct tape and diva energy, the Delta Omicron Epsilon ABC Foam Party was more than an event. It was a full-blown moment.
