Every third Thursday of the month, a special kind of magic happens at the Campus Starpugs. At 6 PM, Shakespeare’s Regret Poetry Club gathers, drawing in students, staff, residents, and friends of Woodcrest who come together to share the written and spoken word. It’s a space where creativity flows freely, stories are told, emotions are expressed, and voices—both new and seasoned—are heard and celebrated.
This month, we’re thrilled to present a special event: “May We Bring You Poetry”, happening on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This evening is more than just a poetry reading—it’s a celebration of expression, connection, and community.
Whether you’re a seasoned poet or someone who’s been quietly scribbling lines in a notebook, this is your chance to step into the spotlight. Speak from your heart, soul, or wherever your inspiration lies. Perform solo, bring a friend for a duo piece, or gather a group to create something powerful together. However you choose to express yourself, we welcome your voice and your story.
