Every Wednesday, the Beaver’s Pride Cheerleaders have practice at 5 p.m. On this particular Wednesday, April 9th, both the cheerleaders and the crowd had a very unexpected visitor—they were accosted by an unknown streaker.
According to Woodcrest’s very own Smooches Kha Trueshot, she stated, “During cheer practice, a streaker came through twice, running and dancing.”
As disturbed as I was by what she told me, it didn’t stop me from asking more questions. I then asked, “Did anyone faint? Or try to stop him or chase him out?” Smooches responded, “The mascot tried to chase him down. The streaker even went into the stands to dance with the crowd!”
That was one bold streaker, I must say! I immediately sent out a mass text across campus asking anyone who was at practice to contact me with more information. However, no one has come forward at this time.
I’m grateful that Smooches took the time to inform me about what happened so the public can stay aware. If anyone comes across this unknown individual, do not attempt to stop or engage with them. Please contact the Woodcrest Police Department. And of course, do not forget to contact yours truly, Griselda of The Beaver Pride.
