I recently had the pleasure of attending the Delta Alpha Mu (DAM) Rush Beach Party, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. Even in the sometimes chilly Massachusetts weather, DAM was able to bring the beach to us and create a fun and exciting atmosphere.
One of the standout features of the event was the large pool, which allowed attendees to get their “aquatic flippers” on and cool off. The décor was also beautifully done, with hanging table chairs and logs for relaxing, as well as a fire for warming up. While the palm trees may not have been real, the fun certainly was.
The music provided by Minksy was the perfect addition to the party, getting people up and dancing and enhancing the overall atmosphere. For those who didn’t feel like dancing or swimming, there were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas set up for spectating.
Of course, no DAM event would be complete without a bar, and the beach party did not disappoint. DAM is known for their beer, and they certainly delivered at this event. The food was also a highlight, with a variety of beach-themed options such as crab and shrimp, as well as delicious desserts.
Overall, I would highly recommend attending a DAM Rush Beach Party. The attention to detail in the décor, the fun and energetic atmosphere, and the delicious food and drinks all made for a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you’re looking to let loose and dance, relax by the “beach,” or enjoy some great food and drinks, this event has something for everyone. Kudos to DAM for putting on such a fantastic event.
