Q: What made you decide to go to Woodcrest?
A: I followed a dear friend from high school, thinking college wouldn’t be a serious part of my life. Some friendships fade or get stale, ours has only gotten closer. So we are here together and im pushing on to my doctorate at my own pace. Maybe if I never finish, I never have to leave?
Q: What is the one thing that you love about Woodcrest?
A: There is a small core of people that have been around forever. As long as I have been at Woodcrest I have always been welcomed and made to feel wanted by the people that matter most to me. Sure things change and some people come and go. Also No COVID drama was allowed.
Q: What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far at Woodcrest?
A: I don’t believe have really accomplished anything yet. I just continue to work and take on new things. Nothing ever feels finished, just good enough for now.
Q: What would you consider your most embarrassing moment at Woodcrest?
A: I had a seizure during my freshman year and nearly drowned in the pool. One of the DAM boys pulled me out, (he originally pushed me in). I woke up in the medical center in an ill-fitting hospital gown and several people staring from the foot of my bed. The need to make those gowns longer.
Q: What is the one thing that you think people will remember you for in Woodcrest?
A: Being far too free with my opinions. It irritates me when people share their opinions but aren’t open to hearing differing opinions. Life is not a children’s game of who ever speaks first is correct.
