Brotherhood on Tap: DAM’s Housewarming Kegger

Article written by Loneleigh Resident with photography by Thomas Evans

On Thursday, February 20th, Delta Alpha Mu threw a raucous Housewarming Kegger that had the DAM house vibrating with the pulse of a good time. The night kicked off with DJ Puma, better known as Tocho Winchester, taking over the music, setting the mood with a mix of party anthems and unexpected bangers that kept the crowd hyped. The Everclear Song by Roger Creager signaled the start of an evening where beer flowed freely, friendships were solidified over foam-topped red cups, and the DAM brothers welcomed partygoers with open arms.

DAM President Thomas Evans was on hand, keeping the beer cooler stocked and the vibes light. As DAM’s resident beer aficionado, he made sure no one went thirsty, though he did muse about the need for a wild streak before his 40s to avoid a midlife crisis. Roxie Louvelle Blackrose and Tocho kept up a playful flirtation as the party energy ramped up, their banter adding to the electric charge in the air.

New faces mixed with DAM regulars as students poured in, introducing themselves over the rhythmic beat of LMFAO’s Shots and the infectious chants of Mas Tequila. Viktor Who, clad in his officer’s badge, made an appearance. He was there not to shut down the festivities, but to enjoy the music and remind everyone to party responsibly. His sudden presence sent a ripple through the crowd, but his casual demeanor quickly put everyone at ease.

By the time Tik Tok by Kesha hit the airwaves, the hot tub had become the unofficial VIP lounge of the evening. Bikinis were donned, beers were clutched, and at least one brave soul debated the art of the keg stand. The DAM brothers ensured all the essentials were covered: drinks, music, and, thanks to Viktor, a well-placed bowl of party favors for safe choices.

Conversations drifted from DAM-Con cosplay plans to spontaneous dance-offs that took over the patio. Laci Rossini and Adam Spade arrived just in time to watch Stiles Winchester make a grand entrance, ready to party. With every bass drop and laughter-filled exchange, it was clear that DAM had once again proven why their keggers are the stuff of legend.

As the night stretched on, the final stretch of DJ Puma’s set played out against a backdrop of toasts, late-night confessions, and the occasional cannonball into the hot tub. With DAM leading the charge, the party was less of an event and more of an experience, one that would be talked about well into the semester.
