Q: What made you decide to go to Woodcrest?
A: My draw to Woodcrest was through my Aunt. She is a marine biologist down at Woods Hole. She knew of my love for the ocean and marine life. However, I went into the Army right out of high school which did not make her happy. I was kind of drifting after I got out. She convinced me to come to Boston to enroll in the marine biology program here. It is a well known program with great professors. I have loved every minute of it. Honestly she more like grabbed my by the pony tail and dragged me to Boston. I kinda loved my Gulf Coast beaches.

Q: What is the one thing that you love about Woodcrest?
A: grins and winks “That is easy. I love my Lexi.” pauses “And I do love my sorority and the people here in town. They are the best”

Q: What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far at Woodcrest?
A: I actually have three big ones. In order, they are being married to Lexi, being president of DOE and starting my band called Fawn.

Q: What would you consider your most embarrassing moment at Woodcrest?
A: Well, I am a DOE so I am very hard to embarrass, but there was that one time that I was stepping onto the fisheries boat from the dock and it moved out from under me. Well, I think you can get the picture. I went in the water books and all. I was so embarrassed.

Q: What is the one thing that you think people will remember you for in Woodcrest?
A: I hope they will remember the love that I carry in my heart for each of them. I truly want the people around me to be happy and enjoy life.
