On Friday, January 31, at 3 p.m., pledges Roro and Hecate de la Rosa kicked off the Tri Carnival: A Trip to Unicorn Land. As you walked through the gates, you were greeted by a dazzling display of bright, beautiful rainbow colors. The meticulous decorations truly transported you to another world—Unicorn Land.
The carnival featured a variety of rides and games for the numerous students and residents of Woodcrest. As I sat back and took in the festivities, I saw countless happy, smiling faces, an array of prizes being won at carnival games, and attendees not only enjoying the attractions but also indulging in delicious food.
If you needed something to brighten your day or simply a chance to unwind and have fun, this event provided exactly that. For first-time organizers, Roro and Hecate did an exceptional job, exceeding all expectations. Their dedication and creativity shone through in every aspect of the carnival, from the elaborate decorations to the seamless organization of activities. I have no doubt that they have a bright future ahead, as they demonstrated remarkable leadership and commitment to making this event a success.
As the festivities came to an end on this final day of January, there was a sense of fulfillment in the air. The pledges had accomplished something truly special—ensuring that everyone who attended left not just with prizes and souvenirs, but with a heart full of joy and memories to cherish. The Tri Carnival: A Trip to Unicorn Land was more than just an event; it was an unforgettable experience that brought magic, happiness, and community together in a way that will be remembered for years to come.
