On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the community of Woodcrest, Massachusetts gathered to honor a group of brave young women and men. Delta Omicron Epsilon President, Sharon Skydancer, opened the ceremony by calling off the names of those who fight fearlessly for our community day and night. Those brave firefighters include: Chief Rachel Ambrosio Spellweaver, Emilia Amana, Sasha Berezka, Hanako Blossom, Kimber Carolina, Joshua Lee Daniels, Mari-Emily Dawn, Nikolina Evergarden, Bunny Fenmore Juan, CJ Duke Keehan, Mr. Gunnar ‘T’ Khaos, and Ann Watanabe.

Fire Chief Rachel Spellweaver presented Joshua Lee Daniels and Ann Watanabe with a promotion to full firefighter before special speakers DOE pledges Tamara Barstow and Melina Chardin took to the stage to express their gratitude for the firefighters.

Following the ceremony, DJ Laci Rossini showcased off her musical talents for the afterparty to celebrate all the achievements of Woodcrest Fire Department. The event included dancing, food, games, and a contest for ‘Sexiest Firefighter.’ In addition, the lovely DOE sisters helped out the department by washing their trucks. Special thanks to one of DOE’s social chairs, Prettyy News Hansen, and Fire Chief Spellweaver, for such a memorable event.
