Delta Omicron Epsilon Hosts Spooktacular Movie Night

The Greek Quad transformed into a cozy, spooky movie haven when the Delta Omicron Epsilon (DOE) sorority hosted an outdoor screening of Fear Street 2 on October 15th at 7:00 PM. The event drew a relaxed crowd of Woodcrest University students looking for midweek fun.

Despite the chill in the air, the Greek Quad was alive with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Students settled into their quirky, winged beanbags or park benches set up in rows across the lawn, chatting casually and munching on popcorn. The mood was playful, with some couples cuddled under blankets while others showed up solo, excited to enjoy a movie night under the stars.

As the sun lowered on the horizon, casting long shadows over the Quad, anticipation built for the screening of “Fear Street 2,” a psychological horror film known for its hair-raising suspense. Perfect for a fall night, the movie brought moments of tension, causing startled laughter from the audience when the occasional jump scare hit.

The event spotlighted DOE’s inclusive and community-oriented spirit. It provided students with a well-deserved opportunity to unwind and socialize amidst the hustle and bustle of the semester. Whether in the company of friends, partners, or flying solo, attendees departed with cherished memories of a captivating movie night and exhilarating moments to recount.
