As a sophomore at Woodcrest University, I recognize the importance of the upcoming Student Council President elections and the impact this position has on our university community. In the spirit of fair and unbiased journalism, I have personally extended an invitation to each candidate to sit down for an interview. These interviews will provide an opportunity for candidates to share their platforms and discuss their qualifications.
To ensure that all candidates are given equal opportunity and representation, I will ask each of them the same set of questions. This approach will allow you, our readers, to make an informed decision based on consistent information. The Beaver Pride remains committed to providing accurate, impartial, and fair coverage throughout this election season.
Even with our coverage, I urge you to attend the debate on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 3:00 PM so you can hear directly from the candidates themselves.
