Tri Pi Makes Waves at London Docks

As the sun set over the glistening waves at London Docks, Tri Pi hosted their highly anticipated End of Summer Beach Bash on Friday, September 20th. The golden hour framed a scene of celebration, with partygoers filling the beach from 6 pm to 8 pm, bidding farewell to the summer season in style.

The beach was meticulously arranged for maximum enjoyment, featuring a roaring bonfire circled by rustic logs, perfect for relaxing on the sand. A dance floor was set up to ensure no one could resist moving to the beats, and two canoes—each brimming with delights—stole the show. One was filled with ice-cold drinks, while the other showcased a spread of beach food fare, satisfying every appetite for both refreshment and revelry.

At the heart of the bash was none other than Tri Pi’s own president, Bunny Fenmore, who took command of the DJ booth under her well-known moniker, DJ BunBun. For two hours, her set captivated the crowd with an array of upbeat, beach-themed anthems that had everyone dancing barefoot in the sand. Among the lively beach tunes, a particularly unexpected song made its way into the mix: “Secret Lovers,” the soulful 80s ballad by Atlantic Starr. The curious choice added a nostalgic twist to an otherwise sun-soaked soundtrack, leaving more than a few smiles on the faces of those swaying to the melody.

Despite the cool coastal breeze that signaled the start of fall, several brave souls showed up in full beachwear, unbothered by the dipping temperatures. Bikinis and board shorts dotted the crowd, as these intrepid attendees embraced the summer spirit one last time. Others, more cautious, arrived wrapped in cozy sweatshirts, prepared for the evening to grow even chillier as the night progressed. Between the bonfire’s warmth and the lively dancing, no one seemed too worried about the crisp autumn air.

Whether guests were soaking in the glow of the bonfire or dancing beneath the stars, Tri Pi’s End of Summer Beach Bash was a fitting end to a season of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories. It was a celebration of friendships made, relationships secured, and the potential of new connections waiting just beyond the horizon.
