Grand Opening of the Palace Theater

Article and photography by Mandie Romano

The grand opening of the Palace Theater on September 22nd was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Instead of a simple movie outing, guests were treated to a lively celebration that transformed the street into a vibrant festival atmosphere. Under the helm of Manager Lexi Skydancer, the venue was adorned with colorful decorations, enticing food vendors, and refreshing drink stations, creating an inviting space for everyone.

The highlight of the evening was the fantastic music from DJ Laci Rossini, who had the crowd dancing and mingling throughout the night. The energy was palpable, and the excitement only grew as the announcement was made: the Palace Theater would host classic movie screenings every Sunday at 3:00 PM, starting with the hauntingly timeless “Interview with a Vampire” on September 29th.

With a strong turnout on opening day, it was clear that the Palace Theater would become a beloved addition to the community. As Halloween approaches, movie lovers are eagerly anticipating what classic films will be featured in the coming weeks. This new theater promises to be a cherished gathering place for townspeople and students alike, offering an enjoyable way to experience cinema in a festive atmosphere. I’m personally looking forward to those classic screenings and all the excitement they will bring!
