Dear Readers,
Welcome to the new online Beaver Pride! It is with great excitement that I step into the role of editor, and I want to take a moment to honor the foundations that have brought us to this point.
Firstly, I extend my deepest gratitude to our Editor-in-Chief Emeritus, Hanako Blossom, whose dedication and vision brought to life over 60 editions of our cherished in-world newspaper. Her legacy of excellence is the very heartbeat of The Beaver Pride, and we are all standing on the shoulders of her remarkable work.
I would also like to shine a well-deserved spotlight on our Assistant Editors, Nikolina Evergarden and Griselda Martinez-Longfall. Nika’s tireless efforts in developing our current WordPress site have been nothing short of extraordinary. Her expertise has been instrumental in transitioning our newspaper into the digital world. Gris continues to inspire us with her myriad contributions to The Beaver Pride, week after week. Her creativity and passion are palpable in every piece she touches. I am so fortunate to have them both as part of our editorial team.
To our entire staff, who pour their hearts into each article, thank you for making The Beaver Pride possible. Your hard work and dedication are evident in every word and every image.
As we unveil this new chapter in our newspaper’s history, I ask for your understanding. This is still a work in progress, and as you explore the new online version, you will find we are busy uploading content. We are fully immersed in bringing you the very best of our Summer Rush coverage, coming shortly, but I invite you now to enjoy the work of our talented staff over the past two months.
Thank you for your support, and happy reading!
Warm regards,
Loneleigh
